Traveling ...
California .. it was good to be there and connect again, and get
updates on the projects from the inside. The documentary Beyond the
Gates did very well in the release in Oklahoma. It was 50th in the
country as far as total revenue, and #6 in per theater average. The
plan is to release in Houston in January, Los Angeles in March.
To Florida .. Still editing - the project is beginning to take more
shape -- and yet I see how much work we still have to go - EEK some
more! But, plowing along - we're making progress. Evan is a very
talented editor - I'm thankful I'm not working on this one alone!!
To Honduras .. for a Micah Project Board meeting and to watch five of
the young men graduate from high school. Amid Pomp and Circumstance,
caps & gowns, tears and smiles .. it was a privilege to witness the
transformation of these former street kids. And I got to hand out a
diploma! It's been neat to follow this ministry from the early
stages. These five boys will head for college in the fall.

Christmas Child - the movie I worked on in Tulsa the fall of 2002, the
DVD is out. Based on a Max Lucado book - make sure you watch the
credits for my name to zip by at the very end. It's in most stores
(Target, Walmart, Christian book stores .. at Lay Renewal in St.
Louis). And it airs on Lifetime December 20.
Heading home for a Thanksgiving break, to play Aunt Dianne .. and I've
talked Dad into letting me return to Florida with the Cherokee Six.
After all, I'm living at an airport!
Giving Thanks,
Dianne
